Co-Executive Director Invited to Speak at Inter-American Court of Human Rights

Co-Executive Director Saul Lehrfreund was invited to speak at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Costa Rica at an event organised by the International Institute of Human Rights and the Permanent Representation of France to the Council of Europe.

The event, Universal Abolition of the Death Penalty, was held from 9-11 October 2014 to mark World Death Penalty Day. Saul Lehrfreund presented on “Judicial Activism and Constitutional Developments Restricting the Use of the Death Penalty”, and shared our experiences on efforts towards the abolition of the death penalty from a legal perspective.
