  • News
  • 4 Oct 2016

Working with the British Office Taipei, we are co-ordinating a delegation to visit Taiwan between 4-8 October 2016. The delegation, consisting of former Director of Public Prosecutions Sir Keir Starmer QC MP, forensic psychiatrist Dr Richard Latham, and co-executive Director Saul Lehrfreund, will meet with the President,  Ministry of Justice, legislators and other key policy-makers.

In collaboration with the Taiwan Alliance to End the Death Penalty, a series of lectures and workshops will be held at the Judicial Yuan, Academy for the Judiciary, Judges Academy, Taizhong Bar Association and Soochow University Law Department. The lectures will focus on international standards and the death penalty, and forensic psychiatry/mental health as it relates to serious crimes.
