Our Caribbean Access to Justice Network

For more than three decades, we have acted in appeals before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council across a range of criminal and constitutional litigation. Our legal team are consistently ranked as leaders in the field of constitutional and international law.

Every year, we receive numerous requests for pro bono legal representation before the Privy Council. As a small organisation, we are often unable to take on as many of these cases as we would like.

This is why in 2024 we established our Caribbean Access to Justice Network, formed with the direct aim of improving access to justice for individuals in the Commonwealth Caribbean who might otherwise not have legal representation. By working with a number of solicitors’ firms, we give lawyers the tools and support they need to represent individuals in their final criminal appeals to the Privy Council, enabling them to gain experience and have success in this specialised area of legal assistance.
