We held high level engagements with policymakers and diplomatic allies in eight countries.
We are actively working to support reform alongside our local partner organisations and wider civil society in more than twenty countries.
We published two reports exploring under-researched areas of global capital punishment practice.
We used this groundbreaking empirical evidence to fuel constructive dialogue about criminal justice policy with decision-makers.
We delivered three targeted training workshops to more than 80 individuals working in criminal justice.
These practical sessions covered urgent human rights issues such as mental health in capital punishment cases.
Why it matters
Evanson Mitcham spent 16 years, 3 months and 26 days on death row. He was forced to live in a cell with a direct view of the gallows. In summer 2025, we finally secured his release.
