Donate today to protect human rights

The death penalty is a cruel punishment that discriminates against the most marginalised people in society. Despite this, the annual number of people being executed is increasing. This means our work has never been more important.

We are death penalty experts, taking action to protect the rights of people facing death sentences and promote fair and effective criminal justice systems.

Join the movement for justice and human rights by making a donation today.

Why your donations matter

Majeda spent six years on death row after police tortured her and threatened to rape her and kill her baby unless she confessed to a murder she did not commit. Her infant son, Maruf, lived with her behind bars, taking his first steps and learning to talk in the condemned cell.

Now free and cleared of all charges, Majeda is rebuilding her life for her children.
